Termidor - A Few Days Later:
Termites have come in contact with Termidor  and it has been transferred to several in the colony.  Many have already died, but the "Transfer Effect" continues to spread to those who have not even gone into the "Treated Zone".
Bait System - A Few Days Later:
Still no signs of termite activity in the stations.
Have they bypassed the stations and entered your home?
*Remember, 8 feet apart is like a 1/4 mile to a human.

Termidor - Within 3 Months:
100% Control! No more termites to damage your home. And the Termidor is still in the soil around your home providing protection against any new
invading termite colonies.
Bait System - 3 Months
Some termites might have found the monitors at this point. However, unless there is sufficient activity, the PCO still might not apply any bait material yet. Even if there is enough termite activity to bait, those critters may still be feeding on your home, too.
Interesting Facts:

*The active ingredient in Termidor  (Fipronil) is the same active ingredient      that is in Front Line-Top Spot.  If you have pets Front Line may sound             familiar. Millions of cats and dogs are treated with Top Spot to control fleas. Ironically the concentration of Fipronil used to treat pets, is much stronger than the Termidor that we use around your foundation to control termites.

*The Termidor treatment  will remain in the soil around your home for                several years after treatment.

*Termidor is virtually odorless.
·
*Termidor is effective with all types of soil, in all kinds of climates, and on          many species of termites.

*In most situations a Termidor treatment is less expensive than a termite         bait  system.  Many times less than 1/2 the cost.

*Annual maintenance after a Termidor treatment is usually less than 1/2 the     cost of annual maintenance on a termite bait system.

*Fidelity Exterminating has been controlling termites since 1949. We have       found Termidor to be the most effective product we have ever used for           termites.

Termidor vs. Termite Baiting
The home... For most of us, our largest investment.
Subterranean Termite Workers
One of the most destructive forces of wood in homes.
The best remedy for stopping termites.
Subterranean termites crawl through Termidor treated soil not realizing they have just caused their demise. But before they die they infect other termites just by coming in contact with them. And those others will die too.
*Termidor does not actually change the color of termites This picture is for demonstration purposes only.
A COMPARISON OF TERMIDOR VS. TERMITE BAITING
Termidor liquid termiticide is injected into the soil to make a continuous treatment zone all the way around the foundation of a structure.
Termite bait stations are placed in the soil several feet apart around a structure.
Termites crawling through the soil will come in contact with the Termidor as they try to get into the house.
Termites crawling in the soil will have to "find"  the bait station. There is nothing in the bait station to "attract" termites. They must  bump into these monitors by chance and they are several feet apart.

When a termite travels 8 feet that is similar to a person walking 1/4 mile and many times the termite bait stations are more than 8 feet apart.
